I think it is pretty funny, but kind of pitiful too. I hope whoever put this on ebay is ashamed.

Hey Lewis, good to see you on the forums. Yeah it's a shame that some poor person is going to spend any amount of money on that POS knife thinking that it is a Spyderco (and a Jess Horn design to boot). I was looking for Jess Horn Spydercos and that is what popped up. I let out a bwaaahaahahaaha before the travesty of the situation hit me. It's a buyer beware world.

Hmmm...not only is it a "Jess Horn Spyderco" knock-off...its plastic handle looks like the design was ripped off from the 4" Cold Steel Voyager series.

I wonder what Sal has to say about this or about "Affodable Collectors Knives". Perhaps, as a gentleman, he would refuse to comment.

Lets all bid and pay with an almost "exact replica" of the popular US currency... we can fax our money to him!

"Exact" in every way except, cheap, goofy logo, POS look, wrong blade shape, wrong size and "the hole". Where the hell's the hole?!

And all this can be yours for the low introductory price of....

Sorry, can't stop giggling.

Ron

Is that thing shar...OW!

I'm staying POSitive on this one. The price is right, although I prefer the copfish payment plan.

Sal, you should sue for misuse of your good name! Whoever buys it is paying way too much since they're gonna have to use real money. Of course, anyone who buys that; that thing thinking its a Spydie deserves what they get. Just my .02.

Just because I talk to myself doesn't mean I'm crazy. What's wrong with getting a second opinion?

I showed the POS in question to my fiancee (who is slowly being knife educated and can now open a Spyderco quite easily and distinguish a kuhkuri from a kabar

) and the first thing she said was "That's ugly" and then "That's not a Spyderco!" I'm so proud.

Hugh - It takes all kinds of animals to make a forrest. One needs the leech & mosquito to appreciate the hawk & the deer.

To paraphrase a great line from a vice presidential debate back in 1988:
"I knew the Spyderco Jess Horn.....
The Spyderco Jess Horn was a friend of mine...
You sir, are no Spyderco Jess Horn....
"

Is it just me or does this thing bear absolutely no resemblance to a real Spydie J.H.?

Hello one & all,

Paul Davidson - Well, this certainly is interesting, in a really sickening way, information which you've dug up.

I mean the Ebay "Spyderco" wannabe owner and not you of course (with my curt remark).

Did any of you guys bother checking out reviews to his past transactions? I did.
Well, I, for one, would be interested to hear what the highest bidder will have to say to the POS they're about to get!

Sal Glesser - You certainly are being very "BIG" about all of this.

I, by no means, wish to instigate a fight (verbal or legal wise), and I do realize this is the least of your problems, in-between yourself and this "individual," yet someone else might have reacted far less mature then you have.

James Mattis - Thats an awful lot of urine pouring down on that fellow!

Stay sharp,

I think that knife is made by Eagle knives in China.

I forgot what a Spyderco J.H. looks like, but that blade reminds me of the Leopard BM.

Oh yeah, the handles are definitely Voyager knockoffs.

Dan

Yeah, but it's got a *surgical* stainless steel blade. Do your fancy-pants Spyderco knives have *surgical* stainless steel blades? Huh?
