I wanted a discreet carry sheath for my INFI Wharncliffe...

Not for any "tactical" reasons, but, because I will be sailing around Sardinia at the start of April and I wanted the sheath to keep the knife out way (and out of sight)...but... I still wanted to be able to grab it when it was needed.

I took some inspiration from an old school bicycle saddle bag... like this:

I used a wide double thickness welt to allow for a double row of stitching:

And I ended up with this:

I enlisted the help of a shapely model ;) :

It's pretty close to perfect. :)

Cheers.

Soupy---That's a great RIG! Man, that should work for you. Nice job and the Blue.

That is my favorite ride position for a sheath. Very discreet and accessible. Nice work!

I am perdy sure I can't borrow the knife, but how bout the model?:D:thumbup:

I've got a feeling some of these guys will be contacting you soon for one of those bike saddle-bag sheaths. Nice work.

beautiful work on the sheath. I'm afraid, however, that without more pics of the model we won't be able to ascertain its validity as an effective carry option. :)
