Hi all. I have a Saddleback Small/Narrow Bifold wallet. In an effort to possibly downsize even more I'm considering the ID wallet. I only carry five or six cards, and don't have much concern about them fitting in the ID wallet. But I frequently carry up to 15 bills and am concerned that by the time they're folded in half (or thirds???) they really won't fit in the ID wallet, or it will be so tight and make the wallet so fat that I'm better off just sticking with what I've got.

If push came to shove I could probably get by with carrying only 4 "cards", and leave some of the cash at home, too. Anyway, I'd appreciate your thoughts about the cash carrying capability of the ID wallet. Thanks!

I have the SBL ID wallet. I also carry 8 cards. Once the leather begins to loosen and wear (took mine about 2 weeks to break in) you will haveo problems carrying 15 bills and your 5 or so cards. In the beginninh it will be a pain to put in and remove money from the money slot. Be patient and the leather will loosen enough to allow this with little diffuculty. Its my favorite front pocket wallet! I say go for it! You wont be disappointed.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, BossHog. You pushed me over the edge and I just pulled the trigger on an ID wallet in chestnut. While I was at it I also ordered the Business/Credit Card wallet in chestnut, and the Wallet Sleeve in tobacco. It's an experiment to see just how minimal I can go. ;)

You won't regret your purchase! The trick is patience. When you first get it you might say to yourself "there is no way all my stuff will fit in here." But once the leather loosens and breaks in you will be pleased with your purchase.
