Can anyone please tell me how much a mint Safari Skinner is worth and how much they went for originally?

For secondary market prices, check the Exchange board and use the Search function to look for "safari skinner". I haven't seen one sell in a little while, but quite a few have been bought and sold on the board. I've bought and sold one or two myself.

The SS originally sold for $108.95. In my opinion, it's at least worth double the initial price. For original prices on Rats, refer to this thread:

I've got one user that I'll likely never sell. It's a great knife, and I had to search long and hard for it.

To add:

There was a desert olive version that sold in the Minumental Extravaganzaa (and maybe one other 'Ganzaaaa) that was offered for $98.95.

That one was SR-101 and not D2.

I'd say there worth 200 mint, 180 used. Maybe more - just my opinion.

But they are a SWEET blade. It was my EDC for quite sometime...

Thanks for the replies. I was just curious to see if I overpaid. They really are nice. Definitely keeping mine. Based on the pictures from your post I think I think I may have gotten the one you sold Guyon. Looks like the same sheaths anyway. Still looks unused but I plan on changing that soon.

Absolutely use it! Once you get an edge on the D2, it holds it extremely well. This knife goes deer hunting with me in the fall and winter.

This is the knive that hooked me on Rats, the funny thing is I never bought one (well, I did try to order one before I figured out that the webpage included old items) . Got a Dog Skinner later on BF and it is still one of my fav users. The Dog is bigger than the Safari though.
