Hey y'all, I was wondering who Carry a safe keeper 2 or has? What do ya think, is it heavy, sharp as the rest, does it carry well, can I neck carry it or should I attach it some where else? I'm looking at it for neck carry. I have the zt 0350 As my primary,, neck knife as a last ditch effort. I'm 6'4 I can have a full size knock knife no problem. Thanks

Are you talking about the Safe MAKER or Safe KEEPER? If you're talking about the Safe Keeper I think it might be a tad heavy for the neck, its a substantial piece. If you mean the Safe Maker I think you'll be fine. I just bought the Safe Maker II for my wife.... seemed like the best overall option to me.

I have both of the smaller versions. The Safemaker is double edged, which makes legality questionable in most if not all states, unless you have a CC license. It is super pointy, so sharpness is not an issue for me. All of the push knives dull some coming in and out of the securex sheath.
The Safekeeper is strange. It is single edged, and it could be argued in court that it has some legitimate utility uses. It is a lot heavier. It is not pointy. The edge is very THICK and dull IMO. I have been trying to improve the edge with my Sharpmaker.
I favor the Best Pal because it is compact, light, double edged and pointy.
If I carry these, it is always in my front pocket. I don't like things hanging from my neck.

This post is over a month old but just seeing it so I thought id give my two cents. I have one and its extremely sharp and I would imagine it would make a very efficient last ditch weapon if needed. The best thing is that obviously it would very hard to get away from you in a struggle. the only thing I don't really care for is long tang, or stem or whatever you want to call it that connects the blade to the handle. If you are 6'4" you may have thick fingers so you may not notice it like I do. The handle is pretty thick so it would be seen if carried as a neck knife. Regardless its a pretty awesome blade with one real purpose that I think it would excel at.
