Anyone seen anything similar to the "Truckers" wallets (the ones with a chain on them) but that aren't made of leather, something more like nylon or other material. A wallet that would hold 10 or so credit cards, some cash, some ID, etc. that fits in your pocket, but is pick-pocket-proof? I'm looking for a good pick-pocket-safe wallet...

Thanks!

Check out your local luggage store or outlet; they sometimes have various carry options for documents, money, etc., like money belts, pouches you can carry around your waist inside your shirt, etc. Mountain Co-op also has a selection.

New Sun hanging wallets.

Check out the Clam, G-3, and Gibkit.

Available through lots of dealers, EMS being one of the more popular.

P.S.-Whatever you decide on, remember to stop back and tell us what you decided on, and what you think of it.

Good old fashioned trick: get one of those thick red rubber bands (mail used to come wrapped in them, now they seem to use the regular office type around here) and wrap it tight around your wallet. The extra friction of the rubber on the inside of your pocket makes it difficult to lose.

I carry a small wallet, either in a buttoned or velcroed cargo pocket, or in a buttoned shirt pocket. Never carry a wallet in a rear pocket or inside a jacket chest pocket; that's where they know to look for them.

Keep your wallet secure, and your spending cash in a change purse or money clip, so you aren't flashing your wallet and its location in public.

How about one of these:

I've been carrying one for almost a month now, and it carries almost everyting you need in a wallet. It fits well inthe back pockets of BDU's, and jeans, but it's a bit wide for dress pants. I prefer to carry it inside my jacket pocket if I'm wearing a suit. When open the wallet is a bit over 13 inches in length and approximately 4 1/2 inches wide. It has 2 holes on the flap which you can use if you want to carry it around your neck and has a window slot for military I.D. cards, etc.. There is no velcro present so in order to close it, you just tuck the outer flap underneath a reinforced flap, which Spec-Ops brand calls a "Shark-Bite Closure." The retention is very good, so you don't have to worry about the wallet opening up if it falls on the ground.

I think i have the ultimate impossible to lose wallet, its just a regular dockers suede wallet, i think it was around 25 bucks, one time i put it on the roof of my car(dont even ask me why) and i left it there, went to get gas about 10 miles away, came home, the wallet was still right there where i left it. try that with your ballistic nylon HA!
