Safety Orange BK-11

So...who here likes safety orange???? Fresh from the shop here is a BK-11 with Safety Orange Cerakote.

Cerakote, for those not familiar, is a ceramic based firearms finish. Some big names use it for their production blades like Benchmade, Emerson, Gerber and Leatherman to name a few.

Love it. I wish we could get some orange g-10 Becker scales. How well does cerakote hold up versus the factory Becker or ESEE coatings?
 
I'm diggin it! I'll bet Flexxx might like it also. ;) :D



+ Where did you get that secret squirrel patch at? I want one. That's what we called a watch that I stood while I was in the Navy.

Wow I love it!!! Maybe somebody should forward this on to Ka-Bar hint hint Ethan lol. I mean seriously have you guys seen the green handled zombie handles??? There's no way this is more wild than that. ;)

Thanks all!!! I am glad you all approve.

Cerakote is tough stuff.....it is a coating and will wear with hard use but it is right there at the top of the pile.
 
Wow, you've been putting out some great stuff...keep up the good work:thumbup: Didn't I meet you at Knob Creek?? If so, maybe you can bring some of your stuff to KC this spring for show and tell:thumbup:
 
I was there when I was stationed at Ft Knox....now I am off active duty, back home in MO getting fat and making crazy stuff with Cerakote!!
 
mmm, that would be wild to do on a couple Beckers :)

been thinking about a titanium [di]oxide coating as well. that would be sweet.

milspec monkey sells that patch. clicky

You can get it direct or go through a distributor like LAPG...
