Once upon a time, in the land of New York, lived a Pastry Chef. And this Pastry Chef had a void. And he filled that void by contacting the Master of Bali's in the far away land of Brazil. After much discussion, the Pastry Chef was happy and placed an order.
Many months past and the Master of Bali's completed the bali for the Pastry Chef. And pictures were sent for the Pastry Chef to see. Upon seeing the pictures, the Pastry Chef was aghast. "That is not the bali I ordered." And after much discussion the truth was revealed. For it was understood that in the land of Brazil, "rough satin finish" was achieved by the beating of many beads upon the blade. To avoid angering the Pastry Chef, the Master of Bali's promised to make him a new bali immediately, and the Pastry Chef was soothed.
But the Master of Bali's was worried. Much labor and material was used to make the bali, and yet he has no food to feed his family. And he called upon the Friend for help. And the Friend sent out a message, "Would thou desire this bali?" And the masses replied "Yes we so desire this bali." And the Friend sent out another message "Who would buy this bali?" and two responded.
The First that responded was sold the bali. The Second that responded lamented. And so in his lamentation he asked the Friend "Who bought the bali?" And the Friend gave him the name of the First that responded. After much pestering and makings of many offerings, the First that reponded was moved and agreed to sell the bali to the Second that responded.
And so it came to past that the Pastry Chef, in search of something to fill his void, went to the great bazaar called The New York Custom Knife Show. And he chanced upon the First that responded. And they spoke. As they spoke, the Second that reponded appeared to make his offering. And they spoke. And the Pastry Chef was aghast, "That's was suppose to be my bali." And so they spoke, and the events of the bali was made to be known to all.
And the bali finally found a new home.
Moral: It's a small world after all.
