Title says it all. Which one do you guys generally think is a better value? Im having trouble deciding on which one, i bought my brither a sage 1 and just flippen love it, but the junior is a cool, intriguing design. And steels are different aswell, so im just not sure exactly which one to choose. I know the junior is discontinued but its still reasonably easy to get a hold of one. Let me know which one you would get, any and all of your opinions help!

Most will probabaly say Sage due to its popularity.

The Dialex Junior is underrated IMO. I carry and use mine often. When folded it is a much smaller package in your pocket. A lot of blade in that small package, too.
That is one of my small gripes with the Sage; for a mid size knife it sure looks big when folded.
I also happen to like the Compression lock better than Liner.
Hand positioning on the Junior can either be a good thing or a bad thing for you though. It helps keep your fingers out of the way if you are cutting on a flat surface and also protected and in place if you're push cutting. But it can also place the blade at a weird angle depending on your grip, compared to other knives.
The Sage will definitely cover a wider range of ergonomics. Junior works great for me though, and while I don't have big or chubby hands, I do wear a true size large glove.

I don't have a Sage 1, but I do have a Sage 3 and could always take some comparison photos of them if you'd like.

The Sage 2 is my particular favorite...with the titanium slabs. But if you want a skinnier knife that carries skinny, look at the Caly series, either the Caly 3 or Caly 3.5 by Spyderco. Have had many of these; gifted many to relatives; have carried for office-carry for yrs. Great knife, particularly in ZDP-189 blade-steel.

The first pic shows, from the top, Caly 3.5, Sage 3 carbon fiber, Sage 2, and then the ZT 0770 in carbon fiber...all are great folders...

I love the Sage series, and have had many 2's, and 3's. The Sage 1 is of course very similar and a fine folder. I have never had the Junior; cannot comment on it.

Here is my Sage 3, just up for sale. I don't care if you buy it; that's not the point. It just sits here, and I have no use for it.
