I'm selling my newly aquired Michael walker because it just does not fit my hand like i want it too. I'm considering replacing it with a sage 1 which i think i will like better due to the FFG, blade shape and choil.

I'm just wondering how the lock is on the sage compared to the walker? reason i ask is the walker lock is amazing. by far the very best excuted liner lock i have witnessed. I'm just hoping the sage is the same since one is a collabaration and the other pays tribute to the lock and inventer

Both locks are very similar and both are executed very well. Most Spyderco liner locks that I've seen have been very good. I don't think that you will be disappointed.

i love my sage 1,i have big hands and this knife fits me like a glove, and the lock-up is vary solid, more so then other spyderco's that use this same liner lock, don't quite no why that is! but its a good thing and vary happy with mine.

The Sage has a bigger handle and fits most hands better. It is almost twice as heavy though ;)

All my Spyderco liners locks have been great and my Sage 1 is one of the smoothest knives I own
