Sage 2 and Lefties?

I really love the Sage 2 but from watching several videos one thing keeps catching my eye. It is really a right handed design. First of all, the frame lock is obviously harder to use for those like myself. A Tenacious can demonstrate that... just try it left vs right. Secondly, the opening hole is easily reached via the right hand but the left is occluded by the lock bar.

What is your opinion of this knife for a left handed person? Any actual lefties that can offer advice? Sadly, I think the answer is clear, but I just want someone to say it's all good... I really like it a LOT!

i don't have a sage 2 myself, but have a couple liners/framelocks and i'm left handed. i find closing a liner and framelock knife to be much easier with my left than my right hand. the only thing i would be concerned about would be the obvious bias for right handed opening as you said.

if they made a left handed sage 2 i would be all over it

How do you find it easier? I, an obvious lefty, am sitting here with a liner and frame lock and despite being left handed find it easier and SAFER to use my right hand. It's far from impossible, but it's not natural. Also, would you really be all over it? Lots of people say "if this or that" then I would so get it...

This is why I like the AXIS and back locks so much.
