Sage 2 Production

After searching the internet it's time to post my question. Does anyone know how much longer Spyderco will manufacture the Sage 2? From what I've read it is a limited production but they have been made for a while. This is probably something I should ask Spyderco but thought I would try here first! I bought my dad one , it's very awesome, and want to save up for it but this will take some time...

I never have seen it as limited production, and doubt it is going anywhere anytime soon. When it is discontinued, it will be made known, and then sold at a discount most likely, and not terribly hard to get. I would not worry about snagging one of these.

Bingo, as far as I know, the whole sage series is regular production. As long as they keep selling them they'll keel building them.

Thanks! Some YouTube videos, always factually correct, identified it as something that will pass. I assumed that as new versions of the Sage came out that the older versions would fade away. I saw it in the catalog but didn't know for how much longer it will be made. I am sure that my change will add up soon enough.

All the Sage's are regular production. They will continue to be regular production until their sales numbers decline and it necessitates discontinuing a model. The way Sage 1 and 2's sell I don't see these models going out of production anytime soon. The Sage 3 and 4 don't seem to see the same level of sales though I would say they could be on the chopping block first.

I have a Sage 3 and would love a 4. I just don't want to pay the price. I got the 2 for $100.00 because it was shipped in the wrong box.

The 4 can be pricey. It also varies quite a bit from vendor to vendor. I know two place that sell it for $168. Not sure what you are seeing or what is too much for you.
