I am trying to trade my ZT200 for one. Would it be a good trade? The ZT is just to heavy for me. Do most of you like the knife? How is the lock?

Do It, I've Owned A ZT 0200, And Really Wish I Hadn't Gotten Rid Of It But Soon After Had To Sell All Of My Knives To Help My Family Out....

Anyways, If I Had The ZT 0200 Today, And Had A Chance To Trade It For A Spyderco Sage 2, I Would Jump All Over It.
It's An EXCELLENT Knife, Top Notch Materials, Solid Lock Up, Satisfying "Click" When It Locks Open. And Such A Low Price Point. It's A Beautiful And Wonderful Knife And I Am So Happy I Got My Hands On One!!!

Three Words Of Advice:
JUST GET IT!!!

=]

It's Actually An Excellent Trade.
They Run Around The Same Price.
But The Sage 2:
Has Better Blade Steel
Titanium
Frame Lock
Smaller And Easier To Pocket
Pretty Lightweight

And It's Really Solid And Gorgeous, And Just A Wonderful Knife.
I Love It!

I've owned both and they are two totally different knives designed for totally different purposes. One (the ZT) a Zombie Killer and the Sage a gentleman folder. Some call is a poor mans Sebbie. I call is a Sage 2 that is dang near as good as my sebbie. The lock on the sage 2 is awesome, the thing is just a cool knife. I carry it more than my sebbie if that counts for anything. The ZT 0200 was a great knife but too awkward for me to carry and uncomfortable.

The sage 2 is an absolute work of art.

All the best materials, expertly crafted into a work of art. Nothing extra, Nothing missing. Just perfection.

:D:thumbup:

I Love My Poor Mans Sebenza Haha.

I've Actually Handled A Sebenza, And Liked It, A LOT.
But I Really LOVE The Sage 2.

It's Definitely Up In My Top 3 Of EVERY Knife That I Have EVER Owned. It May Very Well Be In The Top 2.. Or The Best One Ever... Who Knows?

It's Amazing.

I say do it.
I own the Sage 1 and 2, and the Sage 2 is worth the extra $50.
The Ti just keeps the Sage 2 simple and effective. Great slicer, super light, and rides nice and thin in your pocket....like it isn't even there.
I love this little knife.

The ZT200 is a fine knife. May have to get another one before fall hunting season. Kinda got tried of heavy knives.

No offense, BladeChick, but it's very hard to read text with each word capitalized. This is because the human brain looks for the shapes of letters and words to parse them more quickly. For the same reason, most places have ceased to use road signs in all caps - they are just harder to read. I'm not sure why you do this but it would be nicer if you didn't.

The Eyes And Brain Are Actually So Advanced That They Should Be Able To Pick It Up..

It'S LiKe BeInG AbLe To ReAd SoMeThInG LiKe ThIs RiGhT OfF ThE BaT.

When You Challenge Your Brain With Such Things, Your Knowledge, And Brain Advancement Grows.(I'm A Psychology Nut!)
The Human Mind And What It Can Do Is Just Amazing, And There Are So Many Small Things We Can Do To Advance Psychologically And Thoughtfully, Even Emotionally. And This Expands Our Brain, Knowledge, Brain Advancement, Etc.
Sometimes Challenging Yourself And Your Brain Is A Good Thing, It Allows You To Learn. Even Though Sometimes You'll Think You Don't Need Certain Info And Smarts.. The World May Surprise You.

Anyways, Now That I'm Done With My Little Going On About The Human Mind And Such...

It's Truly Just A Habit Of Mine, And A Hard One To Break, I've Tried And It Always Comes Back And Most Times I Don't Even Notice Because It's Just Natural For Me With Casual Typing.

Anyways, Razor, The ZT 0200 Is A GREAT Knife, Was Actually Looking To Trade My Orange Ritter Grip For One, But Decided On A Spyderco Manix 2 And A Spyderco Resilience Instead.
Then Traded A BM 550HG For A Second Para2, But Decided I Didn't Really NEED Two, And I Already Have The One I Use And Carry Every Day. Even Though It's One Of My Favorite Designs, I Just Really Only Need One, And It's Not Like I'd End Up Carrying Them Both At The Same Time, As I Like Having Different Knives In My EDC Line Up.

So, That Para2 Was Traded For My Sage2. And I Am NOT Disappointed! It's An Excellent Knife. Solid Build All Around, Ti And A Frame Lock, Good Blade Steel, Easily Opened One Hand, Will Continue To Be Just As Beautiful With Wear On The Ti, And Has That Great Low Riding Wire Clip! Over All, It's Excellent. I Just Kinda Wish I Had A G-10 Or CF Scale For The Non-Locking Side, All Ti Is Excellent, But I Think The G-10 Would Just Add To It Being A Great EDC, It Would Have Excellent Grip For The Hand.

Can't Wait To See If You End Up With One, And Let Us Know What You Think! =]

BladeChick77, if I may ask, does the sage 2 really beat the sebenza in fit and finish? I know that LOVE (all caps, of course) of a certain blade, especially for the spyderco leaf ffg. But is there anything the sebenza has that the sage 2 lacks? Just looking for input, these forums are awesome! I posted a separate thread (I am new to this, please let me know if I am violating any etiquette by mentioning this in a seperate thread), I am deciding between a sage 2, bradley alias 2, or benchmade emisarry (outlier), but am looking for suggestions to an alternative light 3 inch edc that carries nicely. Razor, like you most likely, I have heard only good things about the sage 2, just wish my local retailer had one I can handle to see if it lives up to the hype. - hayes

Wonder how strong the sage 2 is compared to the small sebenza?

The Sage and the Sebenza are probably on par in terms of lock strength. That jackass Neptuneknives did lock tests for both and the Sage actually didn't disengage but the CRK did. The amount of abuse he put each knife through was way over the top though, so I would say the locks are on par.

Reading a sentence written with every first letter of every word in caps doesn't help your brain to grow and it doesn't provide you with any information that wasn't already there, nor does it unlock said information. Prior to becoming a history major I was working on a degree in abnormal psych and I can tell you that none of what you said, bladechick, in regard to the subject of your inability to type correctly, is accurate at all. Yes, experiencing new things does expand knowledge, but reading your type does not. It may be a habit, but don't attempt to claim it is anything more than poor typing skills.

Hayes - The Locking Mechanism Is The Same - Reeve Integral Lock - And They Are On Par With Each Other As Murdamook Said.
I Actually Prefer The Blade Shape And Handle Over The Small Sebenza, I Just Like The Feel Better. And No The Sebenza Has Nothing Extra Or "Better" Than The Sage 2. The Only True Difference Is That Some Sebenzas Now Come In s35vn Over s30v. Which Are Very Close In Components, And I've Heard That The s35vn Is Not Actually Better Than s30v. So If Having To Choose, I Would Go Sage 2.

And Razor - No I'm Not Married Lol.

Bladechick, I love your post content but I implore you to practice not capitalizing every work. Practice. It's a learned behavior. I promise it is. It can be unlearned. You can relearn to type properly.

I'm not trying to be a ****. I just know it would make your posts more enjoyable. And I might ask you to marry me.
