Sage 5 in other than S30V?

Not as knowledgeable as many who post here, am I right there's never been a Sage version in a blade other than S30V?

I, like many, am a fan of the compression lock. It is Spyderco's own unique lock, it works great and offers some advantages over most other lock systems. The new lock bar track that supplements the lock-up of the original compression lock on the 5 seems an under reported improvement. That kind of sets this Sage apart from the others.

The Compression lock, plus the CF scale, size, blade shape, and milled wire clip make the 5 rather special - kind of a "star" of the Sage series. But with all the "upgraded" steels that Spyderco puts on so many other knives, why not a "Sage 5+" with say S110V, or 20CV, or m390, even S35Vn or Lc200N???

Am I the only one?

The Sage series is all about the locking mechanisms. That's why the steel didn't change between the first one to the last one.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't be interested in a Sage 5 sporting some M390 or M4, I just wouldn't get my hopes up on it ever happening.
