Hello! Looking for some opinions on the Sage 5 LW vs Manix 2. Reason I picked the two was because of similar blade shape and handle shape. Opening mechs are obviously different however. Couldn't find any posts on a VS between these two specific knives, so I made one. Both amazing knives for sure. Thanks!

Manix is generally more beloved than the Sage. The only reason the Sage might be a better choice is if you have something against the ball bearing lock. Some people hate little springs in their locks, some people like it for easy opening. I say go for the Manix.

The manix is a chunky boy. I also find the LW Manix 2 to be somewhat clunky/slippery opening/closing compared to the G10 one, so definitely get that one.
If you're looking for more EDC friendly definitely get the Sage. The Manix is a tad beefier and can be a tacticool carry in a pinch. The sage also is a tad thinner on bladestock and slices a little better. Different personality knives for sure.
