I like the design, but the choice of the steel would be a pass for me. There are much better steels than S30V in my opinion for that knife at that price point.
The Sage is a nice size knife, for me not too small or too big, and I think the button for the comp lock will be a big improvement over the existing comp lock. The dished-out grip on one side is my biggest issue with the original comp lock, which has been corrected on the Sage 6 . I like liner and back locks, so I don't see a need for a comp lock, but I'm still pretty excited to try the new design on the Sage 6. FRN grips on the Sage 6 will bring the price down quite a bit (~$45-$60 based on existing Sage 5 models with FRN & G-10 grips), so that will help with affordability.
