SageII all the way. Ti RIL with S30V for less than $150:thumbup:
If you have large hands I think you'll like it much more than your Caly3. I know I do, and also like it better than any other spyderco. I now EDC it instead of my small sebbie that I had been EDC'ing for years.
Depends on your likes, dislikes, and tastes. The good news is, you can't really go wrong either way. They're both well made, well finished, and ergonomic.
As for me, if I were right handed, I'd opt for the Sage I for several reasons. I prefer the look of a liner lock to the somewhat "half finished" look of a framelock. Of the two materials, I think carbon fiber is the more attractive. It is also more damage resistant, at least where damage from normal carry is concerned. The Sage's textured CF also offers a bit more traction than smooth metal. As things are, I'll just wait for the Mar/McBurnette midlock version.
