Sage vs Ritter mini....

I have been alternating between my CF Sage and large Ritter for EDC's. I love both of them. I like the thin profile and ability to choke up on the Sage. I also like the the stonewashed blade on the Ritter and the substantial hand feel, but feel a bit awkward pulling it out at Whole Foods to remove the plastic wrapper from my chicken salad sandwhich;) Any thoughts or comparisons to these knives vs the Ritter mini?

I know what you mean, I try not to pull anything bigger than a mini grip out of my pocket in crowded places. I do however think that the Sage is a fairly good sheeple friendly knife because it looks unique and pretty to them. I carry my sage 2 a lot and have never had anyone look twice at me for using it. The combination of the carbon fiber and the leaf shaped blade seems to not alarm people. I personally think that you're fine with what you have but of course us knife nuts always want our next fix so I might suggest you check out the Benchmade mini bone collector. I picked up a full size and I LOVE it! Go check it out if you haven't seen it. Even though I really love the Ritter grip I feel that the bone collector series gives you much more knife for your money. You really have to get it in hand to appreciate it but check it out before you make any decisions.

i have a mini ritter and i really like it. it the handle is just like 1/8"-1/4" too short to be PERFECT for me, but its alright because i like smaller knives. it did however bump my other knives out of my pocket
