Sager 1946 Chemical Axe Question

Just received an ebay purchase.

Sager Chemical Axe 1946

it weighs ~3.5lbs but the eye is smaller than my other two ebay DB heads a Craftsman, and a Plumb

The eye measures about 2.75 x .75" where the others are 3 x .75"

Is this the cruiser size eye? Some other weird size?

Is it a "heavy cruiser" lol

Any info about what handle to use would be great thanks

I wouldn't consider it a cruiser. Eye shape is just a little different than usual. I have a pre-WW2 sager that has a shorter eye as well. I like it, makes the axe handle easier to choke up to.
