I have a double-bit Sager Cruiser axe-- I believe it is a Michigan style head. I am trying to determine when it was produced. The stamping reads:

SAGER
Warren Axe & Tool Co.

That is the entirety of the brand stamp information. There are no horizontal stamped bounding lines and “Warren, PA.” is not included on this axe head. The only other stamping is a 2 with and offset or superscript 2. I assume the numbers refer to the weight of the axe head. Any information is appreciated.
