I picked up a Sager Chemical axe dated 1946 today at a antique store for 10 bucks. It only had half the handle but I thought it seemed like a good deal. I also picked up a Keen Cutter axe that had the full handle for 20 bucks. I've been wanting to pick up an old axe for awhile now and happen to come across 2. Can anyone give me a good idea on how to restore these?
