I have a Sager Chemical axe with the date of 1927 on it. It was very rusty so I tried to clean it up and then I noticed the date on it. I was wondering if there is a market for these older head?

Sager chemical axes are very good quality. We aren't allowed to discuss pricing with folks who aren't members but depending on pattern and condition they can be worth your time to put it on an auction site. Can you post some photos? We'd love to see it!

I will try to put so photos on. I am new at this not sure how to add photos. The head is cracked on one side at the location where the handle would go.
