  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Sailors guys on their 110s

Just think of all the stories had Buck been making a 110 in the 40's and 50's.

And all the collectin we would be doing...lol  :D

I never sailed the seas, being based at Yokosuka and then Guam.....and I carried my 110 some after I got it on Guam.....but since I worked in an office I mostly carried it while hiking in the boonies.

But I remember that I noticed that a LOT of sea-going folks carried a big Case that looked like the case folding hunter.....but it may have had two blades.

most every one on the desiel subs and the tender Hollen had one and on most it showed some of us even carryed fixed baldes...
HH , Al both went to sea ( and Al was pig boat salor also)
and the 112 came about expressely for navy leagel carry!!!!
