Hey Everyone,

I have a 111mm SAK I am trying to ID. It has:
Mainblade (locking)
Pliers
Woodsaw
Can opener/Small Screwdriver
Bottle Opener/large Screwdriver
Key ring
tweezers
toothpick
phillips
awl
and phillips (off the end by the key ring)
Cant frigure which model it is.

Ideas?
Thanks!
MrC

If it has a corkscrew on the spine, it's an Atlas, if it has both a spine-mounted and an end-mounter Phillips, it's a very rare "mule"! :D

It has two phillips heads? Is it Victorinox? Wenger? This is the closest I could find through the SAK selector.

Nope, not that one, no corkscrew... and it is a Victorinox.. :)

No Scissors so it isnt that one.... ;/

Yupper-roo, I can't find it. Will post a picture as soon as I find my darn camera... :)

MrCoffee-

Just curious... did you buy it new? Gift? Ebay?

People around here can answer a question like yours fairly quickly. That, so far, they've been stumped, makes me wonder where it came from.

What's the little grey square on the (usually) blank side, opposite the shield?

thx - cpr

That's the slide to unlock the blade.

And I'm thinking this knife is modded (or less likely but possible, a knock off). I've never personally seen a Vic with 2 phillips drivers before and it doesn't fit any of the tool selections on the SAKselector :\

Well... it goes like this.. :)

I purchased this a while back as a used Carpenter, but I don't remember where.... EDC forums? EBay? Strange because I get 99% of my SAKs, new and used from Felinevet (Tim always takes care of us SAKaholics).. I cant
for the life of me remember where I got this one, and it isnt one I normally carry. I was going thru my collection of saks and thought this one was a bit weird not having the scissors or the corkscrew, and decided to figure out what model it was, cause I really find the tool configutation useful, and POOF I cant find this one anywhere. I do remember that it was new, never used when I got it (Well at least until I got it), but otherwise I am drawing a blank.

I figured you all or the guys over at SOSAK would Id it in a second, but so far, nadda. Weird thing too, I keep a spreadsheet listing all the SAKs I own, tools, condisition, etc, and this one aint on it.... sigh.

And yes that gray square is the release for the lockblade. :)

It is, most likely, a Carpenter, even though neither of the descriptions of Carpenter I found mention the inline Phillips opposite the pliers...

it is a little weird, but someone on KF saw the tab for the inline phillips on the picture of the Carpenter on smartknives, and posted the pic. I think your likely right about it, but I have yet to read a description of one with the inline phillips either.

Oh well, it works, guess thats the important part :)
