The 85mm are all red and black handled Evo Grip models: 10, 14, and S51. The S-51 is rarely carried. I mainly use it at my desk when I need a magnifying glass.
The 111mm is a red handled Hercules.

I'm guessing the Evo Grip 10 to 18's are used in the field to peel and clean upland game about as often as the corresponding 91/93mm, such as the Recruit/Cadet/Tinkers/Huntsman/Field Master.

Would a (natural, undyed) rabbits foot fob or key ring be a suitable addition to an Evo Grip 10 and 14 to dress them up?
I remember back when I was a BSA, some of the guys put a "lucky rabbits foot" (yeah, I know ... it weren't so "lucky" for the rabbit) on the bail of their official and unofficial scout and Army/Navy Surplus "Demo" knives to dress-up/fancify their knife.

The Hercules is a "heavy duty" tool. Presumably it finds its way into the hunting and fishing camps as well. A bunny foot wouldn't be "right" on it.
Would a real taxidermy alligator foot roughly 3 inch long (including claws) be suitable to dress-up/fancify a Hercules?

(Poll gives a choice of yes er no on the Evo Grip, and a yes er no on the 111, for a total of two votes. If you change your mind, you can change your vote. The poll will close in a week.)

I Saw both the small gator foot, and a set of 4 undyed bunny foots, on the "big river" site for reasonable prices.

Thanks in advance. 😇

I'm not bothered by the use of animal parts but I'd prefer a paracord fob. I'm not into purely decorative geegaws. With the paracord you could undo it if cordage was needed.

...a lot of people are.

Especially the cute furry ones.

Aesthetically I don't think a lucky rabbit's foot is very suitable for a SAK anyway, Evogrip or otherwise. It just doesn't match.

Me either. My belt and boots are real cow leather, and one of my "cowboy" hats is real buffalo leather. Come to think of it, I also have a real Roo leather neck tie, leather boot laces, strop, a leather duster coat, gloves, archery finger tabs, handlebar tape, leather washer knife handle (Western L66) and other leather items. 😊 Way I look at it, It'd be a waste not to use the hide after converting the critter to food.

I wonder how those who are bothered by the use of animal parts reconcile having leather upholstery in their vehicle, or on their motorcycle or bicycle seat, and designer shoes, hand bags, wallets, phone cases, computer/overnight bags, etc.?

I use the cap lifter and can opener on my SAKs so I’m not dangling anything like that on mine. Just seems kinda gross lol

It seems like a waste to me, and inconvenient having something that bulky hanging off the knife.

I'm bothered by it when an animal is killed just for a single part (especially when the intended use is dubious) and the rest is wasted. Like when rhinos are killed for their horn and then the rest is left to rot. Leather, bones etc when the rest is used for other purposes is just fine.

As for putting a rabbit's foot on a knife, I think it would be too cumbersome for me. I don't even care much for simple paracord lanyards.

I'm also having flashbacks to the rabbit's foot I had when I was a kid, which was a hideous lime green. 😲
