I`m still irresolute if that`s the right place to show this SAK modification by my czech friend Karel!?
(It`s also shown on other forums already.)

It`s a SAK forester where the black plastic scales were removed and replaced with red liners and some nice european stag.
Given the fact the stag I provided was very uneven and "curly" and Karel had to cut the 2 scales from different rolls where at least one corner was missing because it wasn`t wide enough and had to be covered by using the red fibre, I`m amazed by the result of Karel`s fantastic job! :D

Have a look, please:

That`s the way a SAK should look alike (to me at least) !;) :D

That stag SAK is fan-damn-tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so envious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those Czechs do fine work, don't they? That's one FINE KNIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does Karel have a web site? I live in Prague.

Karel lives in Praha too! :)

He doesn`t have a website but:

My Karel (cosco) made knives:
3 rehandled SAK`s (1 ostrich bone, 1 amboina, 1 stag)
1 rehandled Gernot Loquai lockback folder (handle inlay of mammoth ivory)
1 rehandled Bob Ham trapper slippie (mammoth ivory scales)
1 fixed blade hunter, stag handle, blade forged by austrian Norbert Leitner
1 fixed blade hunter, stag handle, damascus blade by german Murat Klein (member of BF as well)
1 scandi, oosik handle, damascus blade forged by Steen Nielsen
(1 slipjoint folder with damascus blade is still in the making.)

His username is Karel at ramanon forums or cosco at Britishblades. You might wanna send him a PM there!?
He works with (sometimes) and gets some of his blades /blade designs from czech bladesmith Petr Dohnal. www.dohnalknives.com.

Looks fantastic! Great work!

I sent this Victorinox SuperTinker out to CA. a few years ago to have a guy put Elk scales on it.

Both are real nice, stag is my favorite scale material.

The super Tinker looks great in Elk and I like the inlaid shield.
