Just bought a Victorinox Super Tinker and Simmons compact 8X binocular set at Target for $29.95. This is a heck of a deal. You can find Super Tinkers (my favorite model BTW) online in the low $20s, but the shipping usually brings the total back up to the high $20s. Anyway, I wasn't expecting the Simmons binoculars to be any good, but they are unbelievably nice and of high quality. I have a pair of Leica binoculars that I paid $450 for 20 years ago and these Chinese made Simmons are darn near as good. :confused:

My 8 year old son is going to be one happy camper! :)
