SAK Blade Wobble

I have a hunter model that I have used several years hunting, and it has got some side to side blade wobble. I really like this knife, and was wondering if I can do anything about it, or would I have to send it in to the factory?

I've never done it, but I think it would go like this if you did it yourself:

1. remove scales
2. tighten pivot(s) by peening
3. install new scales

Yep its very easy to tighten. To remove the scales without damage soak the SAK in hot tap water for a few minutes, then they will pry off without damage. It usually only takes a couple of hits with the ball of a ball peen hammer to tighten the pivot. Tap gently and check frequently as its very easy to over tighten.
