SAK bottle opener/wire stripper

Just got an SAK. Was under the impression that the wire stripper part had an edge for slicing, but it appears to just be a notch (for pulling i guess). I cant exactly remember how it was on my old one.

Is this true for all models??
 
My Victorinox SAK has the notch. Maybe Wenger's have the V-edge for wire stripping. (BTW, I believe Victorinox now owns both names.)
 
The notch is actually a wire bender used for leverage to bend thicker wire at more acute angles than what your bare fingers could. However, I have found that trimming the plastic around the wire with the knife blade and then giving it a goof firm pull with the notch is very effective for stripping most wire.
