The "orange peeler" blade on the Mini Camp is a little different. I have not tried it on any citris, but it works great on clam/hang packs.

Alox minicamp lives on my keys. I 2nd what afishhunter says. Excellent on the citrus, packaging, boxes, and that annoying seal on medicine bottles (it also fishes out the cotton ball quite well).



Edit: Meant to say I’ve never used the one you’re referencing but I imagine it works well?

At some point/year SAK switched to the peeler blade on your knife vs the serrated peeler on the Executive - perhaps because it has more uses than just an orange peeler as you and Jerbhola89 have mentioned

Does the new style also work on the clam/hang packaging, opening Amazon and other boxes, fishing out the cotton in Asparin bottles, and ther things the old style excelled at, in adaition to skinning citris?

I doubt I will be "upgrading" (note quotes) to the "latest and greatest" (again note quotes.) version of the Mini Champ soon. The "old style" I have now does everything I have used it for ... so far anyway ...
