I worked on some cabinetry for my daughter the other day, she's moving
out of her apartment and she would sometimes lock her dog up in the bathroom
where it chewed on the sink's cabinet so much I had to replace the uprights
that the doors were attached to, and add some molding to the sides to cover
the chewed areas, what a mess.
Well as they say, nothing is ever easy, the old wood wasn't just nailed on
it was GLUED and very good I might add :( so I used the short wharncliff
blade, well I ground it down to a wharncliffishness ;) and it did very very well
had to beat on it with a hammer at times to chisel through parts of the wood
near the nail heads in order to pull them out, what a champion blade it turned
out to be, came out still pretty sharp and no blade play at all, very nice!

here's a shot of the blade before grinding, it's more a sheepsfoot type

Here's a shot of the reground blade, just the tip, that curved area is there for wire stripping
which it does well, that area is chisel ground, where the straight area is not.

Very handy knife!

Looks like a nice job.

Its really hard to beat those alox sak's for a tough workhorse pocket knife. In fact its tough to beat Victorinox in any catagory. Great knives.
