I've discovered that the electrician's blade is the best I've got for clipping articles from newspapers and magazines (for those of us who are old fashioned and still read paper). Even better than the old stanby, the X-acto knife. I would guess it might also work great for a host of other hobby chores, like cutting plastic parts off of the trees they're attached to in kits.

That short Electrician's Blade is what I use the most on the Vic.SAK.Electrician. I have to agree with you on it being used for up-close precise work.
