Where does the ball pointpen go on an SAK Explorer? I have one, but I see how the Explorer Plus has a ballpoint pen and a mini screwdriver also. I was thinking of ordering them to go with my Explorer.

In one of the scales...either beside the toothpick or the tweezers...not sure which. The regular Explorer doesn't come with those scales so you could only add a mini-screwdriver to the corkscrew without changing out the scales. I think the Explorer Plus also comes with the straight pin that goes in a hole in the scales behind the corkscrew (you have to deploy the corkscrew to get it out). I usually carry a Pilot G-2 so I don't have the need for the pen but I would like to have there just in case.

It's beside the toothpick. Almost any 91mm SAK can be upgraded to a "Plus" version if you can purchase the scales preset with the holes necessary.
