Gathered my Swiss Army Knives together to get a quick impromptu photo, they range from the very small Rambler, a gift from my friend DocJekl DocJekl thanks again Doc! it sits on my desk everyday and used daily while I am there working. And then the next up is my Executive, one of my oldest knives I've owned, it's traveled the world with me to many countries and out of the way places. And the Alox one is a Pioneer X, very handy knife that rides along with me every day. Those three are resting on the work horse, the Swiss Army Tool, this also has traveled with me around the globe, super tough. Along side the pliers is a smaller one, the Recruit that I use for whittling things like roosters out of small tree branches.

Lets see what ones you have currently, not looking for those that you use to own, just those that are with you guys and gals today.

Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley now you know why you got my Rambler - it really was a spare like I said; although I would have sent anything for which I had duplicates, or just replaced one that I sent you.

I saw you post tonight and said, "challenge accepted"; and then I spent an hour digging up all my SAK for a family photo, just for you. I'm sure I'm still missing a couple or three.

Here’s my fam, only missing my yellow Classic SD and spouse’s alox Classic SD.

DocJekl DocJekl Now that is quite the collection
Y YaArArYa the Pioneer is always a great choice, glad he found a big brother!
T tiguy7 That is quite the collection, far more organized than I :)
A.L. A.L. very good group right there!

Now, I feel remiss as I left two of mine in my little tool bag that's stuffed with all kinds of whatnots as they are used occasionally. It reminded me of the time when, many years ago, that our then middle daughter was inadvertently left behind at church one Sunday. I drove there and my wife drove her car there, I can't recall just why we took two cars, possibly I needed to be there earlier to help the pastor. In any event, as we left the church, my wife thought that I had our daughter and of course, I thought she had both of our daughters and off we drove. A short while later, didn't even notice the error after we got home, what terrible parents we were back then (we have since improved ;) ) but a call came from our pastor asking if we would come back and collect our daughter as she was sitting alone on the front steps of the church... WOW as I recall she was about 5 years old or so, cute as a button. Fortunately we only lived about a mile from the church which is in a small community out in the country, so it was a quick trip to go back and collect her. An adventure that my daughter just loves telling from time to time! You know how those middle kids are 😇

So these two were neglected and are now added to the family photo, a Super Tinker with stout pliers that my wife had on more than one occasion, pulled the loose tooth from our children's mouth, the kids loved it actually as it was only when the tooth was just hanging on by 'the skin of their teeth' And the other is the Scientist model with magnifier and a phillips screwdriver that comes out the end and not the middle of the back.

The slip sheath up in the corner is for the Pioneer X and works great, the Executive has a very thin/slim slip sheath that I've had for ages, it isn't in the photo.

My wife once went camping with the three kids around Dillon reservoir in CO. They’d packed up to leave, and my oldest daughter, maybe 12 at the time, went to throw out the trash and my wife drove off without her.

She realized her error before she got out of the campground, circled back, and picked her up. But 18 years later still hears about it all the time.

Well, I seemed to have also missed one, a florist knife, very very pointy chisel edged blade with nylon scales, one that I've also had a very long time as well, but, I'll not update the photo at this time ;)

My wife confirmed I have the details of “the missing child while camping” episode correct. She realized our daughter was missing after she’d passed only three camp sites, delayed because my son had piled up all the pillows in the back seat and my wife thought the other child was behind the pillows. She picked our daughter up when she circled around to the trash bins. So, what was your excuse for missing the florist knife?

Nice memories lol
And redsparrow redsparrow post reminded me of that one and I had just used it a few days ago cutting up some thick leather very easily too

Thanks Gary, I like to think of it as a functional art sculpture that can be change at will.
This may be a better one but it's missing a couple and Lord help me if I leave one out. ;)
