Update - congratulations pa knifeguy!
Update - this ends July 7th guys.
Good luck!
--------------
The generosity, not just here, but across the board, has been a big inspiration for me. You guys and gals, have been particularly great.
I'm very new, not only to traditionals, but to any knife that doesn't lock. That presents a problem because I have very little from which to choose to give away from. As time goes by and I have more to give, I plan to do more giving.
In the meantime I have two TSA confiscation SAKs. The Climber is around 1991 vintage and the other one I'm not sure about. It was you guys that helped me figure out the name and vintage of the Climber.
It's very obvious that the Climber has been carried a lot by looking at the scales (see pic below), but the blades appear to be wearing the factory edges. The original owner must not have worried too much about dull blades! I think the hook with its 200# capacity is really interesting.
Here are a couple of pics.
Some scratches.
The knives aren't super old, or valuable, but I imagine that they'd have some stories if they could talk.
I'll edit the title with the close date when I figure out my work schedule.
Rules -
Just say "I'm in".
Make sure they (and you) are legal.
US residents and territories, and Canada. On other (more valuable) GAWs I'll open it up worldwide.
Thanks guys!
