SAK hard to open

I have a wenger sak thats proabably at least 8 or 9 years old. The tools seem pretty hard to pull out, some even feel like it will rip my thumbnail off before I can open it. Ive tried cleaning it with soap and water and drying it off. And even tryed wd40. Is there a certain oil I should use, or any way to take apart and really clean it out?

If you haven't already, try submerging the knife under the warm, soapy water while simultaneously opening and closing the sticking blades. This has worked in the past for me.

I've put some of my sticky folders in an ultrasonic cleaner (its just an over grown jewelry cleaner). You might also try one of the teflon based lubricants.

Opening and closing in warm soapy water has usually worked for me too.
