hey guys quick question...Im going to get a sak I just don't know which one is better, the hiker or the hunter? Any input appreciated.

Both good knives. I like to carry the Hiker every time I am in the woods. It is the ultimate in lightweight utility knives that are small and capable!

I like the hunter for it's multi-use. I like the combo tool more than a can opener and bottle opener. I also love the little serrated blade with the curved blade. This is a big thing for cutting free people or animals without hurting them. It is also way better for rubber hoses, rope, and cardboard. The larger saw and blade are cool too.

I could not decide so I did like I always do, bought both of them.

I prefer 111m saks now for outdoor use, mainly for the almost 4in saw and blade.

outrider. Really, truly, get the outrider if you want a lockblade.

Honestly, for a non locking blade, I'd insist on the corkscrew and an end mounted phillips.

Hunter 91mm or Huntsman 111mm?

Of the three Hiker, Huntsman and Hunter, I like the Huntsman I find the scissors very handy. Great for cutting moleskin, bandages, fingernails ect.
But personally I carry a Farmer on my belt and a classic which has the scissors in my 1st aid kit.
