SAK Hobo Knife?

Why no SAK hobo knife? They seem to really like toothpicks, so you'd think they'd have something with just a fork/spoon/knife combo.

I don't care for hobo knives, really. But your question is still interesting. Seems like Vic or Wenger would have made one somewhere along the line. I used to have a cheap hobo knife as a kid, and thought it was pretty cool, actually.

Perhaps hobo knives don't really sell well. That's my only guess.

I'd buy that in the blink of an eye. A lot more classy than flimsy plastic cutlery when BBQing in the woods or having a quick meal at a gas station shop. Although marketing-wise I'd recommend a better name for the product.

Ka-bar still makes a hobo knife. Never owned one, but I've heard some mixed reviews about it. I like the idea of a hobo knife, not sure why Vic or Wenger aren't in on it.

Because they don't have Hobos in Switzerland.

Actually we have some, but that's because either they made it their way of life, or they were too lazy to do the paperwork required to get welfare. But yeah, nobody really has to live on the street.

The new version of the kabar hobo is all steel and the pieces come apart so you can actually eat with knife and fork at the same time.
Keep mine in the glovebox, the little lockblade makes a great steak knife.
They make good gifts for outdoor guys.

I have to ask if there's any real advantage to a hobo knife over just carrying a metal spoon and fork in your pack? Seems the hobo knife will be heavier by design and, on models where they don't come off the "knife" part, less useful.
