I too would like to know. I have one on order. If no one replies, I'll let you know once mine arrives.

I don't want to be a deal spotter or such but I'm looking for a lanyard, SAK clip, ect. but haven't found anything until I saw these items on a web knife site under SAK accessories. If one would look it up you could possibly find it.

For those who know or use these items, how do they work?

Thank-you

No word on the SAK clip I read about here yet?

The one I'm waiting for is on the bay and listed as "Victorinox Stainless Steel Belt Hanger Key Fob & Chain". I just hope it doesn't look too "biker" (nothing against the look, just not what I'm looking for). I guess it'll be pretty good quality since it's made by Victorinox. As I've already said, I'll post my impression once I receive it.

I have a Victorinox steel belt hanger that clips onto your belt. It came with a long chain with a keyring on the end. Also included a short chain with a small snaphook. And just a small snaphook on the ring attached to the clip itself. These attachments can be removed,so if you don't need one just remove it. It is very well-made and secure. I use it to carry a Swisschamp in my pocket using the short-chain attachment. In jeans it suspends the swisschamp above the bottom of my pocket,so the belt takes the weight, and my pocket isn't weighed down. I recommend this item.

Or... a shoelace looped on the belt with a swiveling quick release clip attached to the SAK. The lace also supplies extra utility if you need to tie up something, and I knotted mine at intervals for d&d measuring. Total cost is less than $2, and this rig has supported my Swisschamp, among other key ring equipped multitools, for the last ten years. Although the Vic does look very nice, my shoestring belt hanger is hardly noticeable in use, a look I prefer when in public places.

I've been thinking about something like that using leather, shoestring ect just have to find the swivel ring w/quick release. Nice and easy.

Found mine at an ordinary hardware store in my neighborhood. Is there an Ace Hardware in your vicinity, or any such that deals mostly in smaller stuff?

Oh ok, I think I have that Vic key fob hanger. I ordered one to keep my knife on it but to be honest I just put my knife on Para cord and Carabiner clip and it does the same thing. I actually like the Caribiner best. I would like to have a clip I could clip to my pocket though.

got two of those myself.
its a stainless steel sheet metal belt clip which slip locks in a spring-like fashion to secure a lock down for belt wear.
its a nice item, but wearing it in the open can be a bit nerdy, as it very noticeable when worn.
but if you're so into things victorinox, it helps that there is an emblem affixed upon it which then makes it more of an SAK fashion accessory and worn as a badge of collector's pride.
you can bet that this solid piece of steel belt clip would far out last the numerous belts and ever changing waistlines, but i do have some reservation about the quality of the chain links and split rings which i am sure would require replacements as time goes by.
a word of caution though, an exposed chain link or loop of whatever can and do get caught or entangle with overhanging stuff so please do walk with caution.
or like me, doing away with the chain link completely and hanging an alox with split ring in open wear fashion.

I like the idea of using a shoestring or even some paracord too. With the Victorinox belt clip I never have any chain hanging outside the pocket. There was a thread in here recently where you use a nite ize s biner to clip a SAK to your pocket edge. That looks interesting too. But could draw unwanted attention. The Vic belt clip only looks like a belt clip with a keychain attached. The niteize clip could possibly be scrutinized.

My "Victorinox Stainless Steel Belt Hanger Key Fob & Chain" arrived today and the F&F is what you'd expect from Vic. The surprise was the chain itself. I was worried that the gauge of the chain would be too heavy (read dog choker). The chain is thin enough to be classy and yet strong enough to be secure. If you find one at a good price and want a secure way of keeping track of your Vic (and keys), get one, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Glad to hear you liked it Chawya22. I also think its classy and cool. Hey,its got the Victorinox shield on it and looks good. Costs a few bucks more than using a piece of paracord or shoelace, but I don't mind. Its nice to have options.

Thanks for the info on the belt hanger. The knife leash is just that a leather piece with snap hook on one end and belt loop on the other. This means it must be threaded through the loop every time. I like the clip design or just make one with the snap that you can loop on and off as suggested. Thanks all.
