SAK mods

I doubt it. That's got to be a very small, niche market. Most SAK's are probably $25 or so. A re-blade will in all likelihood cost much more. How many people are willing to pay for that?

Most modders deal with custom scales or modified tool sets. I don't know of any that are actual blademakers. As Christian said, how many people would be willing to pony up a hundred bucks or more for better steel in a twenty-five dollar knife.

Not a SAK mod, but G.Sakai in Seki, Japan make a SAK type copy with a main blade in ZDP-189 steel. I think it’s called the Fieldman.

There’s a BF member review here.
