What kind of lock does the SAK One Handed Sentinel have, and where is the release located, near the top or the bottom? I'm told the older versions had a liner lock, but this version has a flange marked "press" at the bottom.

The reason I ask is that I am recently paralyzed on my left side, and can only use one hand. If the release is like a liner lock--i.e. near the top--no problem. But if it's at the bottom, and I need two hands to use it, that would be difficult for me.

I originally posted this in the "General" section, then spotted this, and figured I would try with a more specific readership. Thanks for the patience.

The release is near the top by the blade tang just like a regular liner lock. The only difference is that the lock is released by pressing in the opposite direction than other liner locks.
