Very brief test, I made whit them two pickets and a tensioner (seasoned acacia wood).

Score:
Blade: SAK 7/10 - Leatherman 9/10
Saw: SAK 10/10 - Leatherman 8/10
Reamer: SAK 10/10 - Leatherman (reamer selfmade) 9/10
Ergonomics: SAK 10/10 - Leatherman 9/10

Total: SAK 37/40 - Leatherman 35/40

Regards, Alfredo

For me the two tools are not in the same category. Some features are similar but not all. The most glaring difference is that the Charge has a pliers and wire cutter and the Ranger does not.

I've yet to see a wood saw on a multi-tool that is as good as the wood saws on Vics. A big advantage for the SAK.
