So I was thinkin of Christmas ideas and thought I'd like a SAK. So I'd like some help finding the right one :)

Here's what I'm looking for:

Victorinox

Compact size I can carry everyday

Scissors (#1 priority for tools)

Pen

I also love the look of the black alox models, but I know I'd have to give up the pen for that, and I'm not sure what else for tools is available with that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

For scissors and a pen being the only tools you mentioned plus compact, Midnight Manager.

I´d highly recommend the Vic Compact. Great knife and adding a pen at a 93mm frame with a regular size blade; and even that mini-screwdriver as a regular tool.

Vic Minichamp. Best 58mm IMHO. Get cellidor scales if you want the pen, or its in alox too. Carry one everyday.

It's the best Jerry! The best!

**sorry for the bad Seinfeld line

I edc a huntsman plus. I have many other models of SAK's but the size to tool ratio for me of this knife is about the best I can find. Scissors and pen are great. I would also hate to go without that woodsaw. So many uses.

Thanks guys for the recommendations! I'm kinda still on the edge about weather I want a SAK or not :/

I've been thinking about something similar for myself jmflem. For a keyring I prefer the slimmest I need, so I'm going for the Manager - the Midnight Manager has slightly thicker scales, and I really like the tweezers. For an emergency torch, I just use the torch app (camera flash) my smartphone.

You won't regret a SAK, there's a reason they've sold so many more than any other pocket knife (can someone quote the figures?).
