I have a Champion I bought new in the early 80s and snapped off the small blade. Is there someone who can replace the blade for me? The knife has a great amount of sentimental value, so I am not looking to replace it.

Just send it in to the Shelton Conn. repair facility. They can fix it, probably for free, or rotokid at sosak can do it for a fee. One thing about sak's; they can be modded or fixed pretty easy due to the design.

Carl.

now Gareth is one dam good SAK man, if you lived in England and had a sister who likes to drink.... :p

My sister likes to drink but she is a LAAARRGGE woman. Thanks all for the help.

Gareth UK - Have you had bad experiences with them?

:D

Quite honestly if it wasn't for the time and cost of the postage I'd happily offer do it. I do think it's well worth trying the local service centre first though.:)

I'd vote for the Shelton CT. repair center as well - I just got back an older "camping" model with severe main blade "reprofiling" and mangled scales - They replaced the blade and scales - no charge -but it takes a while - I've even gotten calls from them about sentimental value of a knife - Go to the website and e-mail them for a repair form and sent it in.. Just be aware it may take some time to get your knife back.
Peace
Revvie
