Howdy,

I'm looking to purchase my first SAK, and I was wondering what online retailers are recommended.

So far, I've been looking at SwissKnivesExpress.com because they have an engraving option (I figured white, block letters of my last name on the black handle of a Camper would be very nice). Is this a solid source?

Where is the best place to buy SAKs online?
 
I vote for FelineVet. I've had a good experience with them, and I will likely buy from them again. They are the first place I look now for SAKs.

Also, I've found decent sale prices from time to time at Smoky Mountain knife works.
 
What is the website for FelineVet?

I'm undecided as far as engraving, though I might not try to get it so that there isn't any ambiguity as far as service and the warranty.

Another vote for Tim..look over his website,if he doesn't have what you're looking for, then he soon will, more often than not....and you'll be more than pleased with his turn around time on shipping:thumbup: :thumbup:
 
I can speak the praises of Felinevet as well. I have bought from him off of eBay and later from sosak and could not be more please with price and service.
 
If you enjoy looking at photos of all sorts of SAKs (and don't we all!?!) then by all means look at FelineVet's online store. If you know exactly which SAK you want and you don't have time to browse the store, then just email him - it's quick and easy that way.

When I want to buy something specific from him, I email him.

When I'm in the mood to look at some online "SAK porn", then his shop is a great place to look at! :) :thumbup: :D

He will NOT steer you wrong. I've purchased numerous saks from him and never had any problems. Great guy to deal with on saks.

P.S. I have never met felinevet, and don't know him personally. He's just one heck of a great sak dealer (both vic and wenger I believe)
 
I can definitely say that through my e-mail correspondence with FelineVet, I am pleased with his service. I just ordered my knife this morning, and he was very responsive to my questions yesterday.

And, of course, I will take pictures as soon as the knife arrives!
