Anybody know how to duplicate the sawteeth pattern on the SAK sawblade?

Here are some pics:

I initially thought I'd be able to cut it using a triangle file at 45 degrees...but after having tried it today...there must be more to it.

Any ideas? tutorials? suggestions?

I think that's done with just an abrasive disk, maybe 2mm thick. A series of cuts from two different angles.

To my eye, the scallop shape of the cuts (in the top photo) indicate that the cross-section of the cutting wheel is a pretty close approximation of a ballpoint pen's tip profile. (V-shape with a radiused apex) You might check your suppliers to see if any of them carry an appropriately small wheel with that profile.

Have you got a mill to do this or will it be strictly hand tools?

The people I know who have done those teeth on survival knives (Dave Beck and Jack Crain) and probably R. Linger use a milling machine.

thanks guys...I'll try a wheel/disc and see what happens.
