Best price i have seen. But a few of the 1059 reviews seem to indicate that some thought the knife they got was a fake. Some wrote that the magnifying glass broke out of the box or within a couple of months. Some complained the scissors weren’t sharp? A few who had other older Swiss Champs thought the new one seemed cheap?
The majority thought it was 100% great?
Would love to buy this but i am hesitant?

It's Amazon, with a "no question" return policy. Us old geezers always think everything new is cheap compared to our old ones from "back in the day". I don't like the new magnifying glass with the clear frame as well as the old grey frame one, but hey, I'm a geezer, new stuff is never as good as the old stuff. At that price, I'd probably order one if I didn't already have a couple that I never carry anyway.

Those are the most common of the faked SAKs and so I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were fakes, and many people wouldn't know if they had gotten a fake one. So, up to you.

I almost want to get it to see if its a fake. If it is like Yab..... said Amazon will take it back.

There is also no shortage of people who would buy a $20 fake, then order a real one off Amazon, put their fake in the box and return it. That is the downside of a "no question" return policy.

That is truly sad. That I didn’t think of that!!
Lol! just kidding. It really is sad that a human being would sink that low as to do something that dishonest.
But you saying that leads me to believe that, that’s why some of the 1059 reviewers might have gotten a fake from Amazon ( as they just restock the fake) while the higher percentage got the real thing?
And in your opinion is it best to buy from a reputable dealer that only deals directly with the Victorinox factory or reputable distributor?

I don't have a problem with buying through Amazon, just be aware that it may take more than one try to get what you want. Buying direct from a reputable dealer is safer, but it will cost you a few more dollars. How much is your peace of mind worth to you?
