SAK Story

I hadn't seen that. Nice story, thanks for pointing it out. :)

A flagship store in New York, oh yeah!:D

Yeah, the NYC store is mainly a clothing/luggage store..Knives are there, just MSRP
Nice museum though

Where is it? I'd love to be able to just handle a good deal of different SAKS even if I wasn't ready to buy. Museum sounds really interesting. :)

Their Farmington, CT store has a decent selection of knives- at MSRP prices. In addition to Vics, the carry Benchmade, CRKT, some Meula fixed blades, some Kershaw, Opinels, and I am not sure on this- I believe either William Henry or Macusta (maybe both, maybe something similar looking but equally pricey).

In addition they also stock Surefires, flashlight accessories and stuff like that. Their prices on those items are pretty high as well (a box of Surefire 123batteries is like $36, for example).

It's still a nice store to visit, and periodically buy from.
