SAK stripper notch ?

i was looking at the wire coating stripper notch on the cap lifter/flathead screwdriver/stripper, and noticed that the edges seem a little bit rounded...

i don't have much experience with stripping wire, but from someone that does have experience; is this stripper notch any good at all?

would i be better off filing down the inside of the caplifter like on the allox soldiers and the old fashioned SAKs to make a scraper for if i ever need to strip wire or scrape on my ferrocerium rod?

For wires that will fit into the notch,it works quite well.The way I use it is to close the caplifter blade with the wire in the notch,push down lightly on the blade with a thumb and pull the wire through.

Probobly not the best worded description,but hope it helps.
