My current primary EDC blade is my spyderco delica 4 or sometimes if I need something a little bigger I will go with my benchmade grip. I am now looking for something to pair with this knife as a secondary EDC. I have looked at the SAK's and like them a lot. I am now wondering which one to get as I would want to carry it in the pocket and not in a belt pouch. A good mix between tools while maintaining a slimness would be great. Thanks ahead of time.

I carry an Alox Cadet on my keychain in addition to another knife (usually a 3"xm18) everyday.

You carry one of the two layer 105mm SAKs as an EDC. It cuts everything I ask it to. You may find that you don't need another knife. Love the Delica however; one of my favorites.

The alox pioneer would also be a good choice. When the SAK is truly a secondary blade, I carry a Bantam. The Cadet is also a very good choice. Something a little bigger is the Tinker which is the SAK I started out with years ago. Great knife.

Heck yeah, love the little punch on the pioneer. Great for a scrapper when you don't want to mess up the primary blade.

If you happen to like the spartan but want it scaled down a bit, then check out the sportsman or tourist. I have carried a sportsman for about 12 years and have never wished it was a little bigger. The tourist is the exact same as the Spartan but smaller. The sportsman has a nail file rather than a secondary small blade.
This is a sportsman with a Small 12

My personal SAK favorites are the Alox Pioneers series and the Cadet.

If I had to pick a small knife to pair with another folding knife it would be the Cadet. The Cadet is such a great all around performer, it is hard to beat. Need a knife for at the office? How about a knife when you travel? Maybe a small budget knife for formal occasions? The Cadet fits the bill perfectly. If you just can't live without tweezers & toothpick get a Recruit (it is a non Alox Cadet).

If I wanted a SAK paired with a fixed blade, the Pioneer/Soldier would be my choice, or any of the Pioneer series, really.

The SAKs that I EDC are my black Executive and my Alox Pioneer. They complement each other perfectly, and take up little space, especially the Executive.

My primary single-bladed knife is either my CRK large Insingo or a Spyderco.

I love my explorer, mostly because it has a phillips and a cork screw. Two of my most used tools. But, I find it a little bulky for pocket carry. My Pioneer is about 18 years old and going strong. I go with the sportsman because it has more tools than the pioneer but weighs less.

I addition to a Chris Reeve small Inkosi (or perhaps something larger) I always have an Alox Mini Champ on me. The ALM customized Evolution with titanium scales also sees a lot of carry, followed by the customized green Pioneer. The Mini Champ, ALM Evolution, and small Inkosi see the most use of all my knives, though the Benchmade Proper is catching up.

Recruit, Spartan, Cadet and Pioneer is the standard equipment, with the most commonly used tools worldwide. Any other variation depends on the tools most commonly used by you so which model will suit you and you'll find most enjoyment with by using it will depend on your location and occupation. It'll be labeled with the use, like Mechanic or Farmer no way! So just pick that one that's named after your job.

The Minichamps is one serous tool, it's got a lot of function in a very nice, we'll built package. If you're looking for tools in a secondary carry, might want to look into that one.

Swiss knows it's stuff. How Vic doesn't have a hobo knife, though? They have a toy one, thinking about getting it if it works. Ha ha.

The Super Tinker is my choice but the regular Tinker works fine for me. A little taller than the Cadet but I prefer the real Phillips driver.
